London Super Comic Con Preshow Sketch List CLOSED

LSCC COMMISSION SKETCHES

Pre-Show Commission List for LSCC is now CLOSED

At that time, send an email titled LSCC SKETCH, through my contact link at  www.terrydodsonart.com or to terry at terrydodsonart dot com (my usual web contact) letting me know the following information:

 SIZE

 9” x 12”
or
6” x 9"

I will do a thigh up figure on the 9" x 12" and a waist up figure for the 6" x 9"

I do the sketches on

Canson MiTeinte Pastel Paper
with
Red Col Erase Pencil
Copic Warm Grey Pens,
Black Markers
and Prismacolor White Pencils or Pro White

IF you want your sketch in your SKETCHBOOK, just gauge the size to the 9 x 12 or 6 x 9. However, I won't be able to do many as I won't have the SKETCHBOOK until I'm at the Convention.

See below for sketch examples and visit my blog, Instagram, Deviant Art and Twitter for more examples.
I’m not taking Blank Cover Pre-Show requests, I will decide at the show if I’m going to be able to do any there.

 SUBJECT

A Single character and I decide if it needs a background but you are welcome to suggest.

Be clear as to what version of the character you want.

And you can list a top 3 of if you want to.

 YOUR NAME

As you will be picking this up in person from me at LSCC, I need this. To be fair, and for my sanity, and yours, I’m only taking requests from people actually attending LSCC.

-------NITTY GRITTY-------

-To be fair, and for my sanity, and yours, I’m only taking requests from people actually attending LSCC.

-I will take the first 25 COMMISSIONS requested via email and then CLOSE the list. I will then pick the SUBJECT I want to draw. As I complete them, I will contact you to let you know your piece was chosen, it's done, and request a partial payment via Paypal (100£) to hold, and then remainder in CASH from you at the show at the time of pick up.

-Once I stop the list, I will announce it is CLOSED and then I will let the 25 know they are on the list. If you don’t hear within 24 hours of CLOSED then your request was not one of the first 25. I will continue picking sketches until the start of the show so everyone should know.

-SO, not everyone will get a sketch and there will most likely be some confusion so read everything carefully and if you don’t hear from me with 24 hours of closing the list, you are NOT on the list of 25.

-If you do make the list of 25, you are NOT guaranteed a sketch, just that I’m choosing from those 25.

- It’s only when I email with the 2nd email and tell you your sketch is completed, request partial payment, then, you know, … it’s done :-)

- DUE TO THE LENGTHY TRAVEL I MAY END UP DOING SOME OF THESE IN LONDON, IN WHICH CASE I WILL EMAIL YOU BEFOREHAND OR POSSIBLY RIGHT AS THE SHOW STARTS  TO SET UP EVERYTHING...

I will do as many as possible!

QUESTIONS!

Please ask in the thread below so everyone can see - thanks!

GOOD LUCK!

The Etchr Art Satchel Day One

I've been using the Nomad Art Satchel to draw with outside the studio for over a year and love it. Now, I'm testing the revised version of it, the new Etchr Art Satchel.

I'm really excited about this as I've had great success with Nomad but thought it could have been even better.

My Initial Set Up for this, using the same set up as I had for the Nomad.

Detail of the Set Up

Sketching Rou

It's great to be able to move around with the Etchr.

This is already much more comfortable than the Nomad.

Close Up of Tools

The Kickstarter campaign for the Etchr starts in a couple of weeks.

The Etchr Satchel and Field Case

So these arrived today…

The Etchr Art Satchel

The Etchr Field Case

I've been using the Nomad Art Satchel to draw with outside the studio for over a year and love it. This is the revised version of it that I'm going to be "field testing".

I’m really excited about this because I love the Nomad but I wished for a bit more and it looks like this will do the trick!

I will post more pics and info as I dig in to them.

The Kickstarter campaign for these will start in a couple of weeks.

Here's the Etchr website for all details
